This is how the Evolution 2012 tournament season gets started, with a 6-0.Dieminion was the latest to post a 6-0 victory in a championship, defeating Chris G in the finals of the Super Street Fighter IV tournament at Apex 2012.
I have a ton of stats on Dieminion, but none that have him pulling off a 6-0 (what's interesting is that since November, he's had at least three 3-0s in a second finals after a long first championship).
So how does it compare to Justin Wong's victory over AndyOCR at NorCal Regionals 7, easily the greatest 6-0 in the history of the Street Fighter IV series?
Dieminion's 6-0 is one of the strongest, but it's not quite there with Justin's 6-0. For starters, Diemimnion lost three rounds (12/15) and Justin lost just once (12/13).
Dieminion, however, was more aggressive, getting 13 first-hits compared to Justin's 10. He also posted four straight wins with more than 50 percent health; Justin had three wins with more than 50 percent health and they were scattered.
Dieminion never had to come back late in any round, while Justin needed to come back twice.
Chris G also used three different characters (Adon, Sakura and Abel each for two games), so whether you add that to Dieminion's pluses or minuses is up for debate. Justin only had to beat AndyOCR's Dictator.
Finally, Dieminion blew a late lead to Chris G but still finished a dominate 10 for 11 (.909). Justin did not blow a late lead to AndyOCR, going 10 for 10.
Here's some numbers for comparison:
| Justin Wong | Dieminion | |
| Rounds won | 12/13 (.923) | 12/15 (.800) |
| First-hit wins | 9/10 (.900) | 11/13 (.846) |
| First-combo wins | 10/11 (.909) | 9/10 (.900) |
| Comebacks | 2 | 0 |
| Closeout rate | 10/10 (1.000) | 10/11 (.909) |
